“I remember when your record store owner was as important in your life as your butcher. Still is, but good record stores are thin on the ground. These days I get heaps of frustrated emails all the time from people who want to buy my records but can’t find them. I send them to Frog at Songland. Why? Because he owns a record store, knows what he’s talking about and stocks my catalogue. We make them, he sells them. It’s a good arrangement. Happy Record Store Day, Australia! ?
