Its the biggest day on the Quality calendar (and everyone’s calendar)… this year with a Japanese twist!
In recent years Quality have had The Beatles, Elvis, and Sergeant the Penguin visit the Malvern store for the biggest day on the independent record store calendar. This year, a non existent Japanese pop artist will be making a special appearance (on film) along with Japanese dress-ups and Taikomochi (Male Geishas). A large, recently acquired collection of 60s-80s pop/rock pressed in Japan will be made available on the day.
To refresh you after a long day of music hunting they will be offering Japanese tea and sushi.
If holograms and grown men in dresses don’t appeal to you, they will have the regular RSD releases, huge discounts off everything in store (including selected new vinyl), and live music as always. A feature will be a heavily discounted range of Audiophile Mobile Fidelity vinyl and SACDS.
And the neighbours at Lilette’s French Patisserie will once again be offering $3 coffee to celebrate the day!
