If you’re spending the day in Melbourne’s Vinyl Triangle then here’s an option for lunch. The Melbourne Record Club will in in the house at Mr Burger on Brunswick Street, Fitzroy for a BYO vinyl play day.
Bring down a selection of your favourite records (and your shiny new Record Store Day vinyl) and sign up to give them a spin.
There are 12 x 20 minute slots available from 2-6pm and music from most genres is welcomed.
Have a break from crate digging and all the fun in the stores, to enjoy a burger, beer and hear what others have bought.
Some Record Store Day stores have also teamed up with the Melbourne Record Club for Mr Burger giveaways on the day plus there will be some awesome Melbourne Record Club merch to some lucky punters. Melbourne Record Club has been around since June 2014 and hosts BYO vinyl events around Melbourne. Not worked a deck before? There will be someone there to show you the ropes.
