Got cosy Winter Solstice afternoon plans yet? Join us in store Sunday June 21st at 2pm. Naarm-based artist Jessie Monk will be performing songs from her album ‘Mis O’ The Mountains’ – a concept album based on the myth of an ancient celtic goddess/wild-woman named Mis, which was nominated for AFMA’s Contemporary Folk Album of the Year, 2025.
Drawing inspiration from the folk traditions of her gaelic-ancestry, Jessie is obsessed with old myths, poetry, stories and musical motifs from various traditions and lineages throughout the ages.
