Record Store Day is upon us, and we’re opening the doors for a proper dig. Come down, flip through the crates and leave with something you definitely don’t need, but absolutely can’t live without.
We’ll have DJs Mizhap, Akane & DJ Jazzy Joel on the decks throughout the day – expect everything from hip hop to city pop (because apparently we contain multitudes).
Spend $50 and get $5 off. Spend $100 and get $20 off. The more you buy, the more you save – a concept your wallet will initially resist and then quietly accept.
And if one record store wasn’t enough, we’ve got two more spots open on the day. Milk Crate Records is doing its thing in the back of Rathdowne Records – CDs, cassettes, vinyls, the works.
And for those of you south of the river, Sabi Sounds is our new outpost stocking around 1000 of our records, so you’ve got no excuse! You will also be able to book a private listening booth, if that tickles your fancy!
