Sun God Replica who’s name represents religion’s continual recycling of myths have themselves (rather than simply recycling their favorite influences) shaped them like sonic Play-Doh into a fresh new rockin’ beast. On drums is the ginger bakeresque (minus the ‘tude) Lochie ‘The Moose’ Cavigan who flails like an octopus on Cocaine. On bass is the hard thumping Lance Swagger who likes to refer to himself as Hung Daddy although no one else does. Don’t encourage him. And on lead guitar and Vox is Link ‘Meanie’ McLennan who is the most talented and handsome of the three (he may or may not be writing this bio).
With the DNA from bands like The Meanies, Stiff Richards, Tomorrow People, The Bakelite Age and Bagful of Beez they not only rock and roll but do so in a unique manner. So, come witness the magnificence and dignity of SGR as they really soar like an eagle (not like those Trump supporters Kid Rock and Monster Truck).
