Thornbury Records was born of the idea that today people listen to a wider range of music in more formats than ever before, but there will always be those of us who cherish physical music products, particularly vinyl, and the community that surrounds it.
The goal was to start a music store that embraces the music lovers’ desire for exposure to large amounts of music, but encourages the connection with a physical product. We also wanted to promote local artists and the plethora of amazing releases that come from Melbourne and across Australia.
